Its been said that ‘the best products of tomorrow begin as great ideas today’. The goal of the Earth Awards is to help innovators with great ideas to showcase their work to a global audience. And with industry collaboration and finance, these ideas can be brought to market.

Can I Enter?

We invite submissions from design schools, architectural schools, NGO’s, science labs and professional organisations. But any person with a genuine product and idea is invited to submit an entry.

Some Criteria

Radical thinking is always good. But you must ask yourself if your solution is practical, timely, doable, scalable and will measurably impact energy reduction.

Next, you have to see if your idea or product falls into one of six categories:

Why Enter

Prestige and Exposure: With the Earth Awards comes international recognition and prestige. We are backed by notable partners and a cursory glance at our selection committee shows the calibre of the people behind these awards. The awards are covered by major press organisations, ensuring worldwide exposure (see Press pages).

Prizes: Over $100,000 prize money is available every year. Each of the six category winners will receive $10,000 and the Overall Winner is rewarded with prize money up to $50,000.

Investment: The Earth Awards provides a forum where innovators and investors can meet. Winners will have a chance to pitch their ideas to potential investors with the possibility of bringing their concept to market.
