Co-founder, Rogan and Loomstate
Scott Mackinlay Hahn and designer, Rogan Gregory, started the iconic fashion company Rogan in 1999, raising the design bar on denim development around the world. Both committed environmentalists, they began to re-evaluate conventional production methods, and five years later founded the organic clothing label Loomstate in an effort to cultivate the use of sustainable textiles. From 2005 to 2007, Hahn and Gregory partnered with Ali Hewson and Bono to launch the fashion line Edun, which is promoting sustainable employment in Africa. In a subsequent partnership with Barneys New York, they launched the retailer’s first eco-friendly label Loomstate for Barneys Green. Hahn is on the Advisory board for the natural resources defense council, and has played a key role in the earth pledge future fashion program.
